Where the Sego Lillies Grow

by Eva López

Somewhere in a distant memory,

Buried away among the chaos of my mind,

Is where you live.

A dream of my life with you.

Bliss as cool, mountain air,

you light my fire.

My lips know the way back home.

Sparks light the trail,

and wildflowers spell out your name.
